The life in her voice. The history of a great country in her
voice. She lifted every single person's spirit in a matter of
seconds. Young and old, we were all journeying back to our own
special memories with her voice. 
She is a strong woman who in
her own time set a whole country's trend. Even after, some twenty
odd years she has the power to move many generations of individuals
from different backgrounds. That is the beauty of her music.
It is pure. It is innocent. It is emotion. It is life.
Like
a powerful breeze she stepped onto the stage, her home. Like
powerful thunder the audience stood and applauded. Young and
old stared at her beautiful entrance in a long white elegant
dress. Elegance, that was the theme of the night. She sang new
songs which embraced her new attitude and voice. Once again these
all embodied the new and strong woman she has become. She still
had her youth in
her with her cute and witty remarks as well as growth like a
fine bottle of wine. The audience was in shock all night and
roared with love and passion. It was thrilling to see so many
individuals of different ages and backgrounds under one roof.
It was even more satisfying seeing certain political figures
such as the LA District Attorney sitting and swaying to her mystifying
voice.
All
I can say is thank you for letting us remember so many lost memories.
Simple memories of being a child and dancing in my grandmother's
kitchen as she cooked and sang along with your heart warming
voice. Memories which can only be triggered by the soothing harmony
of your voice.
After more than a year off of the tour
circuit, Googoosh recently announced several limited concerts
in advance of her much anticipated new album, tentatively titled
"Blue" (Abee). There are several new songs and as Googoosh gets
back into it,
the music keeps getting better than ever!
